Valent Biosciences reaches distribution deal with BioAg Alliance

Actinovate Biological Fungicide products will now be distributed by The BioAg Alliance, Valent BioSciences Corp. announced on Tuesday. 

Actinovate AG is a broad spectrum biofungicide used primarily for management of common foliar and soilborne diseases found on outdoor crops and in greenhouses, nurseries and turf.

"We are pleased to add a quality product such as Actinovate AG to our industry-leading biorational product line," Ted Melnik, Valent BioSciences' executive vice president and chief operating officer, said. "Actinovate AG is a proven product that offers growers a flexible tool for fighting disease and managing resistance while providing value across a wide range of plants and crops."

BioAg Alliance officials say they are happy to work with Valent BioSciences.

The agreement covers outdoor crops, greenhouses, nurseries and turf.
