A new industrial seed treatment plan opened at the beginning of August in São Paulo, Brazil, with the partnership of Bayer CropScience and Coopermota.

Bayer CropScience will offer high-tech equipment while monitoring the seed treatment process and providing training and technical assistance to the headquarters.

"The partnership between two companies has enabled to implement the action which optimize and improve the quality from the planting stage,” Sandro Amadeu, commercial superintendent at Coopermota, said.

President of Coopermota Edson Valmir Fadel is pleased with the way the technology has brought more resources to farmers and is improving the seed treatment to protect the crop and produce an optimal harvest.

"The ultimate goal of the seed treatment is to protect them, keeping the good characteristics that it has, avoiding plagues and diseases and even adding bio stimulants to speed up its development," Fadel said. "Through the technology, we are able to obtain more benefits in an extremely homogeneous way between grains and safety to humans and the environment."

The partnership between Bayer CropScience and Coopermota brings the best technologies to the Cândido Mota region, along with services and training to improve the quality, precision and safety of seed treatment for Brazilian producers.
