SynTech just established a new satellite station near Ames, Iowa, as the latest step towards its strategic goal of total Midwest coverage.
This location complements existing sites in Iowa, Illinois and Kansas.
It also provides the specific capability to conduct trials on the Iowa Black Soils. This could be a crucial location for seeds and traits trials, in addition to the agrochemical trials on the aforementioned soil type.
Josh Dunn joins SynTech as field biologist for the station. He has wide experience in academic and applied research in field corn, soybean, rice and other crops.
Raised on a dairy farm, Dunn received his bachelor's in botany and master's in agriculture from Arkansas State University. He has also worked for Winfield Solutions, Monsanto and Rice Tec.
