CSTA welcomes Scott Horner as 2015-16 president

Scott Horner was named the 64th president of the Canadian Seed Trade Association (CSTA) during the organization's annual meeting on Monday. 

An experienced leader, Scott brings more than 20 years of national and international seed sector experience to his new role.

He has been a member of the association's board of directors since 2008, and as served a chairman of the International and Hybrid Canola Seed Production sub-committees.  

“I am truly honored to have been chosen to represent the Canadian Seed Trade Association as your president,” Horner said. “In my experience, there isn’t another industry where people are so dedicated and passionate about what they do, and so genuine and amazing to work with. I look forward to working with all of you as we work toward our true potential.”

Horner will lead an active board of directors focused on serving members and the value growth of the seed industry.

CSTA  is the national voice of 130 seed company members engaged in all aspects of seed research and production, as well as marketing and trade on the international and domestic levels.
