Dow AgroSciences makes first U.S. sale of advanced herbicide

Dow AgroSciences said last week that it made its first U.S. sale of Enlist Duo herbicide with Colex-D Technology, giving growers access to the advanced herbicide and trait product.

Growers across the country have been seeking new options to control glyphosate-resistant weeds.

The company said Enlist-Duo combines the proven performance of glyphosate plus a new 2,4-D choline and takes weed control to a newer level.

Dow AgroSciences Portfolio Marketing Leader John Chase said Enlist Duo is a game-changer for American farmers.

 “Growers now have a solution for the tough and resistant weeds they’ve been challenged by for years,” Chase said. “And with the significant formulation advancements, Enlist Duo provides unrivaled weed control designed to land and stay on target. This means growers can look forward to regaining confidence in their weed control programs.” 

Indiana soybean grower Adam Schwering said he is prepared to use Enlist Duo on his farm.

“We struggled the past couple of years to manage mare’s tail and giant ragweed— and we’ve seen how weeds hurt our yields,” Schwering said. “With Enlist Duo, we have a new option to regain control of our fields and boost production.”
