Syngenta launches SecureChoice program against mosquitoes

Syngenta Professional Pest Management on Thursday announced the launch of its SecureChoice Mosquito Assurance Program for pest control professionals.

The SecureChoice system provides 60 days of mosquito control and prevention as opposed to common 21-day solutions, a benefit for Pest Management Professionals (PMP) who use their system which combines the Demand CS insecticide and Archer insect growth regulator to decrease mosquito populations.

“Syngenta understands PMPs need to enhance their residential mosquito services, due in part to recent attention on mosquito-borne diseases,” head of marketing for Syngenta Professional Pest Management John Dombrosky said. “The SecureChoice Mosquito Assurance Program can be an effective solution, while allowing PMPs to stand out in the marketplace with a unique business offering.”

The insecticide's microcaps of varying sizes have an immediate and residual effect on mosquitoes. Accompanying the compound, the growth regulator causes interruptions in the reproduction cycle of the insects, forcing non-viable eggs or larvae that cannot grow into adults.

PMPs who purchase these products by April 30 can be enrolled in the 2015 PestPartners 365 Program, which offers rebates and other discounts.
