A newly released Syngenta training module helps educate growers and agricultural industry professionals on yield-robbing corn nematodes.
Syngenta’s online training module, available on the company’s U.S. website, also explains the value of Avicta Complete Corn with Vibrance, a nematicide/insecticide/fungicide seed treatment that helps protect corn’s yield potential.
The module is easy-to-understand and provides agricultural professionals with information on the symptoms of corn nematodes, and other early-season diseases and insects, as well as the prevalence for these problems. It also details the best practices for managing these insects and diseases, including the uce of Avicta Complete Corn with Vibrance.
“It can be difficult to correctly diagnose nematodes, and even when they are diagnosed, they can cause irreversible damage,” Marc Hennen, Seedcare product lead at Syngenta, said. “We’ve designed this online tutorial as an educational tool to help growers better understand nematodes and the steps they can take to protect their crops against these damaging pests. Syngenta is committed to providing seed treatments and technologies that will help farmers grow more corn.”
