COLORADO FARM BUREAU: New Clean Water Rule Brings Clarity for Farmers and Ranchers

Colorado Farm Bureau issued the following announcement on Jan. 3.

The New Clean Water Rule was proposed by the Environmental Protection Agency to replace the previous WOTUS rule. The new rule is mean to clarify and define which waters fall under federal regulation and which do not, helping farmers and ranchers to find better certainty when it comes to their own land use decisions. The following report was created by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of the Army to help clarify the New Clean Water Rule proposal.
