COLORADO FARM BUREAU: CFB Taking Applications for County Promotion Grants

Colorado Farm Bureau issued the following announcement on July 19.

Colorado Farm Bureau is pleased to announce there are funds available for one-time County Promotion Grants. County farm bureaus interested in conducting a promotional or advertising campaign to help raise awareness of Farm Bureau and county activities to drive membership growth are encouraged to apply.

Counties could use the grant money for campaigns to utilize radio, newspaper or other promotional advertising. If your county is interested, please submit the application to the training and Development Team, Richard, Jayde or Kacie, no later than August 1, 2018.

Requests will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Grant funds available.
  • Amount requested.
  • Type of advertising proposed.
  • Duration and proposed dates for promotion.
  • Willingness to provide Award of Excellence Forms and Showcase Information
  • County ability to supplement grant money to ensure project success.

Funds may be awarded to participating county farm bureaus up to a maximum of $600.00 per county.

All funds will be distributed before September 30, 2018, at which point there will be no remaining funds for this project. The advertising campaign (s) do not need to be completed before September 30th but projects must be planned for quick implementation and complete use of distributed funding.
