The My American Farm Outreach Grant winners were announced at the end of May, with winning schools in urban areas performing an outreach program with at least 400 elementary students using resources found at myamericanfarm.org.
The goal of the outreach program is to show young children how agriculture affects everyone’s lives on a daily basis. The website's resources include an interactive game, a lesson plan and a video.
Receiving $1,500 grants were Cassia High School (Burley, Idaho); Christian
Academy of Louisville (Louisville, Kentucky); Cumberland Valley FFA
