Environmental Protection Agency approval for use of dicamba herbicides on Roundup Ready 2 Xtend soybeans will not be completed in time for the 2016 soybean planting season.

The EPA’s proposed draft label for a dicamba product is expected to be approved by late summer or fall.

The American Soybean Association reminds soybean farmers to keep up their reputation for obeying the laws regarding product use. Monsanto is also implementing a plan to keep growers, dealers and other members of the industry up-to-date on the EPA’s approval of dicamba as it becomes available.
