Verdesian Life Sciences appoints business development VP

Marc Treurniet was recently named vice president of business development for Verdesian Life Sciences, a company that focuses on advancing plant health through nutritional, seed treatment, biological and inoculated technologies.

Working out of its North Carolina headquarters, Treurniet has been tasked with developing and growing Verdesian Life Sciences' strategic global partnerships.

"Cultivating global relationships is crucial to developing a business strategy that delivers," Treurniet said. "I’m thrilled to be joining the creative and innovative team leading Verdesian, and working closely with our partners to ensure only the best new products and services reach agricultural markets."

Treueniet has previously held management roles at Syngenta and DuPount, with his most recent position putting him in charge of product development and implementation of seed treatment business strategy. He also been successful in helping company growth and enhancing relationships with regional, national and international customers.
