The U.S. Grain Council's (USGC) 13th International Marketing Conference and 56th Annual Membership Meeting last week in Sarasota, Florida, featured key speakers on topics such as the presidential election’s impact on free grain trade, the North American Free Trade Agreement, the status of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and the impact of El Niño on crops.

The USGC Advisory Teams also met during the conference to set goals and provide guidance for 2016.

“We are looking forward to a productive and informative meeting in Sarasota,” USGC Chairman Alan Tiemann said before the meetings were started. “Our stakeholders who are in attendance will leave our meeting with a renewed dedication to the work that needs to be done to keep us expanding grain exports.”

Meeting materials are available online through smartphones, tablets and computers.
