The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced this week the expansion of microloans for farmers.

Agriculture Deputy Secretary Krysta Harden said the USDA will begin offering microloans for farmers to buy and improve property.

The microloans will help new farmers, financially struggling farmers, U.S. veterans looking to start a new career in farming, and those hoping to expand small farms.
