Dow AgroSciences has entered an agreement with Nutrichem to purchase Dow AgroSciences’ Oxyfluorfen Herbicide business, including all Goal herbicide brands.
Nutrichem is a supplier of agrochemicals in China. Dow AgroSciences will still be able to sell Goal brand products with Nutrichem’s oxyfluorfen.
The Goal herbicide products are known for their pre- and post-emergence control of a broad spectrum of weeds. The Goal brand will help Nutrichem expand its existing manufacturing capabilities and product portfolio and allow Dow AgroSciences to focus on technology for global agricultural markets.
The transaction is expected to be final by the end of the year.
