AgriThority announces China Network

AgriThority announced today it is starting a network of facilities and products in Jinan, Shandong Province in China.

The Chinese network will provide expertise in agriculture, especially in technology transfer, plant genetics and crop protection. There are 35 research farms and facilities for laboratory, greenhouse and field testing.

"China is a rapidly developing agricultural market where innovative companies are developing new products to increase agricultural production and create more sustainable practices," AgriThority President Jerry Duff said. "AgriThority-China will help those companies bring their products to market faster, supplying growers with the resources they need to address new challenges."

AgriThority associate ShiGui Zhang is the research manager of AgriThority-China. He has been with the integrated agricultural science consultancy for five years and has more than 30 years of experience as a seed company agronomist. He is well-known in the Chinese agriculture industry as a plant physiologist.

ZhongHua Li has a strong background in pesticides, plant protection and management of sales teams which will strong benefit him in his new role as business development manager of AgriThority China.

Jin Zhang will lead field research projects as part of his role as project manager of AgriThority. He has a strong background in corn, soybean and cotton agronomy as well as root analysis, biologics and their impact on plants.
