Organizational changes at Arysta LifeScience designed to improve global outreach

Officials with Arysta LifeScience, a crop protection and life science company, recently said they plan to work more closely with Goëmar, which was acquired by Arysta in 2014.

The strategic plan is that both companies will have aligned portfolios and commercial activities globally.

Paula Pinto will be responsible for the global portfolio management organization, which features products for seed treatments, conventional crop protection and bio-solutions. Pinto was previously global head of value-added portfolio and regulatory for Arysta LifeScience.

José Nobre, CEO for Europe of Arysta LifeScience, was named president of Goëmar.

“The portfolio and expertise of Goëmar, focused on Biostimulant and Biocontrol solutions, is extremely complementary to Arysta LifeScience’s Crop Protection and Seed Treatment portfolios,” Pinto said.

Mark Singleton will be global head of value-added portfolio and regulatory for Arysta LifeScience, while Jean-Pierre Princen will be the new senior biosolutions adviser to Arysta LifeScience.

“We are excited to offer our clients a combination of solutions that crosses all segments of the portfolio, in order to maximize the return on the investment of growers around the world. These organizational changes will enable us to better leverage the benefits of our complete line of products,” Pinto said.
