Syngenta Professional Pest Management recently launched new Twitter and YouTube accounts to help keep growers on top of the latest news in pest management.
Both social media accounts will offer information to help solve challenges pest management professionals face in residential, commercial and farm pest control. People who are interested in following Syngenta Professional Pest Management can follow them on Twitter at @SyngentaPest and on YouTube by subscribing to the SyngentaPest channel.
“With Twitter and YouTube, we can quickly share alerts, reminders and recommendations, so (professional pest managers) can get the information they need without interrupting their work schedule,” Pat Willenbrock, head of marketing for Professional Pest Management at Syngenta in North America. “Social media is an excellent platform for thought leadership and we are looking forward to joining the industry conversation.”
The Twitter account will provide educational tips, industry news articles, technical advice, product information and company updates. The YouTube channel will host informational videos on the Professional Pest Management division of Syngenta as well as its product portfolio. Both social media accounts are linked to the Syngenta Professional Pest Management website; in addition to the social media accounts, the website provides additional tools and more extensive information on products.
Syngenta is a leading agriculture company that strives to improve global food security by providing farmers with ways to better use available resources.
