The National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) has announced a staff realignment, with changes that aim to emphasize the team’s expertise and create opportunities with new projects.
These shifts will be valid starting Oct. 01, when the new fiscal year starts.
NCGA also announced that more two employees have been added to the team: Max Starbuck, director of market development, and Susan Powers, the new communications manager. Powers will have the mission to reinforce messages regarding corn's sustainability and versatility, while Starbuck will focus on the livestock industry and identifying and promoting new uses of corn.
Furthermore, the Sustainability Department will also see changes. Rachel Orf is the new manager of the National Corn Yield Contest and sustainability and will also be responsible for water quality initiatives, while Richard Vierling will lead AMCOE. Biotechnology and Crop Inputs will now be under Nathan Fields responsibility.
Nick Goeser has also been announced as the new director of soil health and sustainability, while remaining involved with Field to Market.
