Michael Austin will now lead the global agronomy team within Research and Development at Agrinos.
In this new capacity, he will emphasize scientific research for both existing and new product lines. By overseeing the development of R&D field trials, Austin's Global Agronomy team will support and review commercial trial activities around the world through the Agrinos Global R&D agronomists who now report to him.
Previously, Austin had roles with Syngenta Seeds as the head for North American Continuous Nurseries in Hawaii and Puerto Rico, with DuPont Pioneer Hi-Bred as research scientist and agronomist.
He has a Ph.D. in plant breeding from the University of Hawaii. Austin will be based in the United States, from which he will oversee agronomy activities worldwide.
