Alltech innovation conference available online

Alltech is offering a $195 virtual pass to the REBELation conference it held in May, which explored innovation, inspiration and world-changing ideas.

Highlights from the online conference are free to the media and registered attendees who were unable to attend, located at

Keynote speakers included Gen. Colin Powell; former Procter & Gamble Co. global marketing officer Jim Stengel; futurethink CEO Lisa Bodell; and University of Kentucky men’s basketball coach John Calipari. They were joined by experts from Google Inc., McDonald’s Corp., Whole Foods Market Inc., JBS USA, The HANOR Family of Companies, Buffalo Wild Wings Inc., Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, Maker’s Mark and others who discussed strategies for transforming business, agriculture, food, beverage and life.

Among the conference presentations were: Excerpts from “Leadership Lessons,” Gen. Powell, U.S. Army Retired, former U.S. Secretary of State; Excerpts from “Conscious Capitalism,” Walter Robb, Whole Foods co-CEO; “Digital Biology: Life is the New Black,” Raymond McCauley, biotechnology & bioinformatics chairperson, Singularity University; and “The True Cost of Food Waste,” Dan Glickman, former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture; former congressman (D-KS) and senior fellow at the Bipartisan Policy Center.
