Neogen unveils enhanced AccuPoint ATP Hygiene Monitoring System

Neogen said on Friday that it has introduced an enhanced version of its AccuPoint ATP Hygiene Monitoring System.

Neogen said it's the most sensitive and consistent test of its type available.

Neogen's latest system, the AccuPoint Advanced ATP Hygiene Monitoring System, features upgraded samplers that collect any potential residue left behind after sanitation efforts. It also features an enhanced, compact instrument that better detects residue collected by the samplers, as well as user-friendly data-management software to organize and analyze test results.

Neogen Food Safety Vice President Ed Bradley said that while the previous versions of AccuPoint have successfully monitored the effectiveness of sanitation programs, customer feedback led to the next-generation system.

"Our many years of working closely with the food industry and other producers of consumer products have shown us what product features matter,” Bradley said. “We are pleased to offer a new sanitation-testing system that we believe is superior to anything else in the market."

Other enhancements to the AccuPoint ATP Hygiene Monitoring System include improved sampler chemistry to produce more consistent results with even greater sensitivity and allow storage at room temperature for up to two weeks, an enhanced instrument to produce results in less than 20 seconds, and advanced data-management software that streamlines testing by creating test plans and syncing important data, keeping a permanent record of hygiene test results.
