Helena Chemical introduces soil conditioner Liquid Chisel

Helena Chemical Co. unveiled its new soil-conditioning product, Liquid Chisel, on Thursday.

The company said Liquid Chisel improves soil health and increases the amount of nutrients available. The product moves salt through the soil and away from where roots would take up space to prevent the salts from interfering with the growth and absorption ability of the plant's roots.

The compound also includes wetting agents that facilitate improved movement of water to make irrigation lines more efficient.

Helena released two other products earlier this month -- the MicroMerge nutrient booster and Receptor, a growth regulator. Both products are designed to promote and enhance soil health by bolstering the amount of nutrients available in the soil. MicroMerge can be blended with different fertilizers, and it promotes unified distribution of nutrients, including magnesium, iron, sulfur, zinc and manganese.

Helena Chemical Co. specializes in the creation, development and production of agricultural products, including pesticides, fertilizers, seed treatments and other crop-protection products. The company is based in Collierville, Tennessee, and has approximately 4,000 employees across 450 branch locations and offices.
