Organizers are looking for presentation and workshop speaker submissions the 2017 American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) Annual Convention and IDEAg Trade Show set for Jan. 6-11.

AFBF is looking for speakers who can create presentations and workshops which engage attendees and give them new, tangible, information they can take back to their farms and ranches. Topics can be as diverse as innovations in agriculture to policy development for the premier conference of its kind in the industry.

The presentations can range in length from 15 to 60 minutes and will include networking with Farm Bureau leaders and other speakers, as well as farmer and rancher AFBF members, industry leaders and agricultural professionals.

AFBF is specifically looking for workshops on topics like innovation in farming, ranching, rural communities, business management, new technologies, current trends and the future of the industry.

Proposals are due by April 15, and applications can be found at the Farm Bureau’s annual convention.
