Farmers and industry supporters will join together on March 3 in New Orleans to participate in a social and auction held by the American Soybean Association (ASA).

The ASA announced this month that WinField will serve as a premier sponsor of the event along with Syngenta. The annual event will be held in conjunction with the Commodity Classic.

“We’re very excited that WinField has decided to support our auction event this year,” Jerry Bambauer, ASA Soy Social and Auction Committee chairman, said. “WinField’s support and participation in this event demonstrates their commitment to the success of our industry and ASA’s efforts to advocate on behalf of all U.S. soybean farmers on key legislative, regulatory and trade policy issues.”

ASA members will have the opportunity to "Let the Good Times Roll," the theme for the event, while bidding on items including farm equipment, sporting event tickets and vacation packages. All proceeds from registration fees and sale of auction items will go to the ASA’s SoyPAC.

“As a member owned organization, WinField is committed to helping our farmers realize the full potential of their soybean acres,” WinField Soybean Director Jack Carlson said. “We seek to do this by not only offering high-performing seed and the latest management practices and technology, but also by supporting organizations like the American Soybean Association.”

Additional sponsorship is being provided REG, BNSF Railway, Liberty Link, MacDon and Rabo AgriFinanace.
