Bayer's
ILeVO soybean seed treatment has been nominated for the AgProfessional’s Editor’s Choice Top Product of the Year Award.
The editors look for innovative products with large potential in agricultural markets. Reasons for ILeVO's nomination include that it is the first and only seed treatment for sudden death syndrome (SDS) with nematode activity, and that it allows for early planting so soybeans can reach their full yield potential.
Bayerofficials also say ILeVO controls early season root rot at the initial infection site before symptoms become visible, and that trials show yields are two to 10 bushels per acre higher when ILeVO is used, depending on nematode pressure and SDS incidence or severity.
Voting is open until Jan. 8 at AgProfessional's 2015 Top Products page.
