XiteBio Technologies receives approval for SoyRhizo

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has given XiteBio Technologies approval to expand use of the company’s soybean innoculant XiteBio SoyRhizo in Canada.

It has also been approved for in-furrow use, giving farmers multiple ways to use the product.

XiteBio SoyRhizo is the only premium soybean inoculate powered by Advanced Growth Promoting Technology (AGPT) and can be combined with most seed-treatment products for 64 days of on-seed viability.

“Synergy is created within the soil microbiology,” Manas Banerjee, president and CEO of XiteBio Technologies, said. “This boosts the overall health of the soil, which allows for increased plant vigor and higher yields."

XiteBio SoyRhizo, which has a two-year shelf life, is an all-in-one formula.

“Working together with retailers and farmers allows us to keep developing ways to meet the needs of the end users,” Bob Reekie, XiteBio's business and product manager, said. “This only serves to strengthen the uniqueness of SoyRhizo."

XiteBio Technologies is a privately owned Canadian ag-biotech company headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
