Arysta LifeScience launching Rancona fungicide at Brazilian Seed Congress

Arysta LifeScience is launching Rancona, a family of seed treatment fungicides, during the Brazilian Seed Congress, running through Sept. 17 in Foz do Iguacu, Parana.

Rancona's main component is ipconazole, a fungicide controlling fungi on seed and soil that is highly effective in low doses and can be used in treatment on the farm or in industrial seeds.

The launch marks the integration of New Arysta with the market for seed treatment that came with the company's union to Chemtura.

"Many of the professionals involved in the seed chain will participate in the congress, from researchers to companies in the sector ... an excellent opportunity to be in touch with our audience and demonstrate the potential of Rancona," Arysta LifeScience Seed Treatment Marketing Manager Jonathan Alves said.

Alves will speak at the technological advances panel event on Wednesday, where Rancona will be presented. The company also will have a booth on site where it will demonstrate solutions and provide technical assistance.
