Farm Market iD (FMiD), a Telematch subsidiary, released its updated farm and land database, which now covers the 2014 harvest year, late last week.

With the update, FMiD's proprietary, fact-based database contains detailed information on over 402 million planted production acres from over 24 million geospatial land units. The land and production details are connected to over 1.9 million individuals working on over 1.4 million farms, generating $197 billion in gross farm income for the 2014 harvest year.

The new database includes expanded geospatial data capabilities providing aggregated watershed boundaries at the Hydrologic Unit Code level, the ability to identify unique land and crop combinations with the NRCS Soil Survey Geographic database, and improved California file reporting on all 58 counties in the state.

In addition, the company has expanded its email marketing database to more than 1 million email records. Expanded services also now include online ad-targeting capabilities through Oracle BlueKai.

"As we continue to refine our approach to compiling data, we have listened to the feedback from our customers regarding target-marketing objectives," FMiD CEO Steve Rao said. "Utilizing this robust data -- coupled with additional communication touch points, including more robust e-mail capabilities and online ad targeting -- agri-marketers can employ an integrated marketing approach."
