Syngenta Business Institute application deadline next week

Golf course superintendents have until Tuesday, Aug. 18, to submit their completed Syngenta Business Institute (SBI) applications.

Through SBI, Syngenta partners with the Wake Forest University School of Business to offer superintendents business and managerial skills.

The seventh annual SBI will take place Dec. 7-10, 2015, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. To be considered, candidates must complete an application and an essay on why they should be selected. Candidates should include relevant professional experience and educational credentials in their application materials.

“I feel very honored and privileged to have been selected to participate in SBI,” Brad Christensen, a superintendent at the Tribute Golf Club in The Colony, Texas, who attended SBI in 2014. “Meeting, interacting, socializing and learning from such great instructors was an amazing experience for me. Business and academic professionals who have taken the time to develop a program for superintendents are simply remarkable.”
