Now that technology has revolutionized agriculture by bringing farmers, retailers and distributors to the forefront of the digital age, Verdesian Life Sciences, to meet the needs of customers, has advanced its web presence to help farmers explore the science and plant health technologies it has developed to maximize yields and returns on investments.
All Verdesian products are now identified by five product categories: nutrient management and efficiency technologies, nutritionals and micronutrients, seed treatments and inoculants, crop health chemistry and biologicals - not to mention soil surfactants.
“Verdesian has a wide variety of product offerings, each with specific crop and agronomic information,” Chief Operating Officer
Greg Thompson said. “We recognize that farmers, retailers and distributors use the Internet as a primary source for initial product research and comparison, so we aimed to bring a more efficient online experience that is accessible to them from the field. This update features new items such as mode-of-action demonstration videos, tools for measuring inputs and performance, a media room for the latest newsworthy announcements on Verdesian people and products."
The update also features a “Find a Specialist” feature to identify local retailers. Future website additions will include interactive graphics for plant health education and access to Verdesian’s monthly e-newsletter.
“Developing the site gave us the opportunity to expand on the information and resources we provide to retailers, distributors, agronomists, researchers and the farmers they work with," Verdesian Life Sciences’ vice president of communications Amy Bugg said. "The new site emphasizes the science behind Verdesian products and the solutions we can deliver for any number of nutrient management challenges.”
