Syngenta among sponsors for American Agri-Women's 'Drive Across America'

Syngenta recently joined other agriculture, agri-business and marketing organizations in sponsoring the America Agri-Women’s (AAW) Drive Across America, a five-month educational and advocacy tour that celebrates AAW’s 40 years of promoting agriculture.

AAW President Sue McCrum said the organization appreciates the support Syngenta has provided for the campaign and in many other ways.

"Many of our members have attended Syngenta’s 'Leadership At Its Best' training and are now more effective and confident advocates for agriculture,” McCrum said. "Syngenta has been our partner on many issues and shares our commitment to America’s farmers.

McCrum and other leaders will drive in a specially wrapped pick-up truck, and take part in educational, network and advocacy events hosted by AAW’s more than 50 affiliates. The drive will finish at the 2015 annual convention in Portland, Maine.

AAW is the nation’s largest coalition of farm, ranch and agri-business women.

Other sponsors of the Drive Across America even include McCain Foods USA, Bayer CropScience, Penobscot McCrum, The Renewable Fuels Association, CCI Marketing, Valent USA, CoBank, Freestyle Productions and Sunrise Agricultural Associates.
