BASF announced Tuesday that Julia Harnal is the new marketing manager for the Canada crop protection division.
Harnal, who joined BASF in 2001, has held a number of positions in Germany and France, including portfolio lead for seed treatments and insecticides and director of marketing for crop protection. Most recently, she was global content leader for the Sales Excellence Program for Agricultural Solutions.
BASF Business Director Ron Kehler said Harnal’s experience and passion for agriculture make her a strong addition to the Canadian business.
Harnal was born and raised in Germany. She received a master’s degree in agricultural sciences from Germany’s Christian-Albrechts University.
