Engage Agro gets exclusive Canadian rights to new biofungicide

The Stockton Group recently agreed to give Engage Agro exclusive Canadian rights to its pest control product that controls infectious disease in fruit, vegetable and specialty crops.

The distribution agreement expands the market for Stockton’s Timorex Gold biofungicide, a new tool for disease resistance management that leaves no residues in the harvested produce. The product boosts plants' natural immune defenses to control fungal and bacterial diseases.

Stockton Group CEO Ziv Tirosh said the agreement is another important milestone for Timorex Gold.

“We are excited about our relationship with such a well-respected partner as Engage Agro to distribute and market our flagship biofungicide,” Tirosh said. “Timorex Gold partnerships like this are keys for Stockton as we rapidly expand into global markets."

Engage’s Business Development and Supplier Relations Manager Michael Brazeau said Agro looks forward to helping growers discover the many benefits offered by the product.
