Syngenta blog facilitates information sharing among cereal growers

Syngenta announced today it has started an information-sharing blog to help cereal growers during this year’s wheat-growing season.

“Our goal is to serve as an interactive resource for cereal growers across the country, where users can discuss pest and production challenges, as well as solutions they have found to be effective in their fields,” Syngenta's cereals communications lead Bev Larson said.

The 2015 Voices 4 Wheat campaign will share the experiences of four growers and retailers from the major regions of the country. They are: Paul Kanning, a third-year wheat grower from northeast Montana; Kevin Capistran, a full-time farmer in Minnesota; Tom Luhrs, owner of Luhrs Certified Seed in southwest Nebraska, and Scott Way, manager of the company’s seeds business; and Brian Lorentz, seed manager for Columbia Grain Inc., in western Idaho.
