Vestaron receives expanded approval for its biological insect control products

The Environmental Protection Agency has approved expanded registration for Vestaron's biological insect control products that will be commercially available later this year under the Spear trade name, Vestaron Corp. said May 8. The biological insecticides are derived from newly discovered naturally occurring peptides, and the expanded registration approval will expand their use on crops and insects, including caterpillars, beetles and thrips.
